Procrastinating

you might have notice that instead of blogging about my progress in the game, I've been posting movie reviews instead. Well, the title says it all. Well, not entirely.

The truth is, i got stuck. i cant seem to beat the bloody zombies. I actually just starting to play the game again so have patience with me. I'm getting there. I just have to remember how to play again. XD

Stoker review

Let me see, the minute the movie ends i thought "How disturb are the people who made this". There is no denying that Mia and Nicole's performance are great as usual but the story is just weird and a tiny bit disturbing. They are probably trying to get into the head of a psychopaths, and if I'm right I probably board my doors and windows.

Overall 8/10 for me.

R. I. P. D. review

As a story? it suck. As a movie? it suck even more.

I thought it would be great since its a promising story line but no. they choice it to be a flop. There's not even a single pick of Ryan Reynolds body. This movie can R.I.P. and they don't need the freaking department for that.

The Silver Lining Review

I just got off from a barbeque at the beach and I just feel so tired but its only 11pm and for me 11pm is still too early to sleep. So instead of breaking the habit of sleeping late I watch a movie instead.

The silver lining movie did not made me cry. Well, I did but just a dribble which does not count as crying. I haven't read the book so I can't compare it to the movie. All I can say is that I am a hundred percent or more agree to Jenifer Lawrence winning the award for best actress on this movie. This movie touches a different part of my heart that has been rarely touched. Its like inspiration, love, pity, hope and something else I can't describe all together. The screenplay is just so smooth, like running you finger on the highest quality silk. This movie is so beautiful yet painful. I could only imagine living is such situation; discrimination, disgust of other people and, most of all, the pity of the people around you.
Here's the thing, seeing this movie makes me see the world in whole different way. It makes me feel grateful at the same time guilty of how I treated others because I can totally see my self videoing other peoples mishaps. But anyway. Its an awesome story that touches your core at the deepest. And a touch of Chris Tucker made it even better.

P.S.

Its so nice to see Chris Tucker is a calm manner. It was refreshing actually. I mean in Rush Hour he was just plain annoying.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunter review

First of all, this is not (obviously) part of my adventures in secret world but since I was playing secret world while waiting for the time I thought I might as well include it.

Now, Hansel and Gretel is one of those stories which I read as a child. Not because I love it but because I like the pictures. I'm one of those kids who only open books where there's pictures on it.

I think the screen writers can do better than this. I mean, there are some parts of the movies that just over the top. Although exploding bodies are quite awesome, its not as great as I thought it would be. And yeas, I was a bit disappointed. My friend also laugh at me for my poor movie choices.

Its not all bad, there are great moments like when the troll named Edward stepped on the Sheriffs head and it splattered on the ground.

So if I rate this movie, it would be a 6/10

Loots: The White vs the Green Loot

There are two types of loots in secret world. As you might have noticed; the green loot contains either potion or wearable goods e.g. ring, trinket or mark plus some cash. The white one contains raw materials for assembly and runes. If you ask me which one I prefer I would choose the green loot.

The green loot not only provide you with useful items and potions, it is also my main source of raw materials for assembly. As I have mentioned in my previous post, unwanted items can still be disassembled, or if not, sold.  Where as the white loot solely contains raw materials.

In Savage Coast, white loots are more common than the green which is a bummer because they mostly contains runes which is pretty much useless if you don't have the item to put a glyph into. So this is the reason why I drifted back to Kingsmouth zone. Although I have done most of the quest that I have seen around I still continue to search for new quest hiding somewhere. Adios!

Oh! Holy crap.. you can't even make glyphs because you would need a glyph toolkit which cannot be bought, you can only get them from drops. Damn you creators!

Jonh Wilf: Taking the Purple

My mother use to say "I'm not afraid of monsters since they are not real but I am afraid of humans that can actually hurt me"
In Taking the Purple quest you are in fact fighting our fellow human beings. Not like its something new, but still in situation like the doom of the world in coming you would expect everyone to band together and fight it arm to arm. Bu no! some greedy bastard wants to possess this doom instead.
So in this quest you are fighting the 4th secret society. You'll find a dead body in front of the carnival only its not like anything you've seen before. This person has been shot dead. Have you ever seen a zombie with a gun?? No, as far as I know there is none. You will then folly the trail ob dead bodies and infiltrate their HQ. You'll have to go through another set of security camera's and lasers. Its easy though so you don't have to worry about that. You'll have to access their computer, deactivate the security and then look at the camera around the carnival. Thar would be the end of that tier. the next thing you'll have to do is locate the camera's and destroy it. All of the camera's are inside the carnival so be careful of those psycho's running around. Locating the camera's are easy since you are provided with a tracker, just right click on it, and off you go. Now, locating them is easy but destroying them is a bit difficult if you just hit it without any knowledge.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that you are not looking for the actual camera, you are looking for the box that supply the power to the camera, sort of the like a fuse box. Anyway, those boxes are most like to be in a building. Destroying them can be fatal, and may even result to death, if you're not prepared. Those box will electrocute the crap out of you no matter how far you are.  I suggest you give it your strongest attack skill. The faster you do it the better.
The last box is in the carnival parking lot. its beside the tree so its easy to see. The hard bit is killing the Squad leader of those hoodlums. If you are in rank three of your secret society then you probably met this guy or you already knows how he fights. Bombs and shit that kicked my ass for the third time. I still haven't gave him a payback. I nearly killed him but he manage to kill me first before I could give him the final blow.
So, good luck. Kick ass later.
